Installing a TEROS 22 in a pilot hole is often more convenient than digging a trench or borehole, especially when you are installing a single sensor. We offer a depth installation tool to help ensure your sensor is placed precisely at depths up to 130 cm without using the shaft extension—not too shallow, which will allow water and air to accumulate beyond the sensor, and not too deep, which will compact the soil around the ceramic disks.
